Oxygen is a very important gas in industry fields, it’s widely used in steel, non-ferrous metallurgy, chemical industry, furnace energy saving, glass, sewage treatment, garbage incineration, etc. VPSA oxygen generation is the highest efficiency, lower energy consumption.
VPSA system is mainly composed of blower, vacuum pump, switching valve, adsorber and oxygen balance tank. Feed air after the dust particles are removed through the suction filter, they are pressurized to 0.3-0.5 bar by blower and enter one of the adsorbers inside. The adsorber is filled with adsorbent and dehydrating agent, in which water, carbon dioxide and a small amount of other gas components are introduced into the adsorber. The impurities is adsorbed by the activated alumina filled at the bottom, and then nitrogen is adsorbed by the zeolite molecular sieve filled at the upper part of the activated alumina adsorbent. Oxygen which is discharged to the oxygen balance tank as product gas form the top outlet of the adsorber. While the adsorbent reaches saturation, the moisture, Co2, Nitrogen and other gases will be regenerated by vacuum pump.
