Moisture is one of the main problems in the polyurethane industry. The humidity of the air in the environment at the time of construction is too high and the moisture in the air will penetrate into the polyurethane paint film, and when the moisture evaporates, it will cause the paint film to blister. When using air spraying, the compressor or pipeline may contain moisture, which will also be mixed with the paint when spraying and cause the bubble phenomenon after evaporation.
How to solve this bubbling problem?
3A activation powder is a kind of molecular sieve powder based on A-type crystal with potassium form of structure, it can selectively adsorb different molecular substances according to molecular size and polarity, it can adsorb all molecules with effective diameter less than 0.3nm (i.e. water molecules). The addition of quantitative activation powder in the system can effectively remove water from PU system, and it does not adsorb solvents, resins or pigments, avoiding the formation of air bubbles and extending the service life of the material, so the activation powder is an excellent dehumidifier for PU coatings, adhesives and sealants.
