Product Description.

The Chemxin 99 High Alumina Support Media is in chemical composition 99+% alpha alumina and a maximum 0.2wt% SiO2. Because of its high alumina content and low silica (SiO2 ), it's a very excellent and ideal product for high temperature and steam applications, such as secondary reformers in ammonia processing, where leached silica will coat downstream equipment or foul the catalyst bed.

The Chemxin 99 High Alumina Support Media has very excellent thermal properties, with its high density high-temperature resistance 1550℃, also it's a good choice for heat retention or deceleration media.
High-alumina ceramic balls are also often used as fillers and support materials. In tower reactors, packed towers and other equipment, high-alumina ceramic balls can effectively increase the reaction area and promote the uniform distribution of fluids, thereby improving mass transfer and heat transfer efficiency. In addition, due to its excellent mechanical strength and chemical stability, high-alumina ceramic balls can operate stably for a long time in equipment such as packed towers, reducing the maintenance cost of equipment.

For its superior chemical resistance, it's suitable for applications in ole fin processes, such as ethylene dryers, where there's the polymerization problem.

Unit Capacity: Coal-to-gas production of 1.2 million tons/year of methanol and 550 million m3/year of LNG
Unit Operating Hours: 7,200 hours/year
2. Operating Conditions and Technical Requirements
2.1 This unit utilizes four molecular sieve dryers (two adsorption units and two regeneration units) to adsorb trace amounts of H₂O, CH₃OH, and CO₂ in the gas. The regeneration bed utilizes low-pressure ammonia at a pressure of 0.3 MPa and a flow rate of 8,500 kg/h, with a heating period of 7.3 hours (at 265°C) and a cold blow period of 3.7 hours (at 20°C). The process gas temperature in the adsorption bed is 10°C, the pressure is 4.95 MPa, and the flow rate is 240,686 Nm³/h.
2.2 The alumina ceramic balls at the bottom of the molecular sieve dryer are arranged from bottom to top: 6mm alumina balls and 3mm alumina balls, with molecular sieve in the middle and 12mm alumina balls evenly covering the top. The process gas flows from top to bottom, and the regenerated ammonia gas flows from bottom to bottom.
2.3 The molecular sieve dryer is designed for an operating pressure of 4.95 MPa and a temperature of 10-330°C.
