Inert Alumina Ceramic Balls For Methanol Synthesis Projects

Introduction:
The Chemxin 23 Support Media is one of the new media in the industry with unmatched impact resistance, thermal shock, crush strength, andsurvivability. Products to these specifications are manufactured from very high quality chemical-porcelain clay materials, which has quite excellentstability, high mechanical strength and resistance to thermal shock, This makes them all ideal choice for support of all types of catalyst.
Customer Case:
Chemxin signed a contract with a large coal chemical plant for alumina ceramic balls. The following describes the client's plant and the technical specifications of the alumina ceramic balls:
The methanol plant's production capacity is 1.8 million tons of MTO-grade methanol (purified) per year, with an hourly output of 229 tons/h and an annual operating time of 8,000 hours.
Process Overview
The methanol plant receives qualified synthesis gas from the upstream purification unit and reacts it in two methanol synthesis towers under a specific temperature and pressure to produce crude methanol. The alumina balls provided by Chemxin are installed in various locations on the catalyst, providing gas distribution and catalyst support.
Technical Specifications
