Activated Alumina Defluorination Removal Agent
CHEMXIN water treatment products adsorbents combine chemical adsorption and physical adsorption and removal of metal pollutants in water articulate (or physical) filtering of contaminants. There are many types of activated alumina adsorption sites and high surface area, which is the perfect choice for adsorption of various harmful minerals water, verified results for high levels of arsenic, fluorine, copper, zinc, lead and phosphate. There is also potential for chromium, silicon, selenium, mercury.
Fluoride removal
Fluoride is generally considered beneficial for dental health at levels up to 1.5 PPM (parts per million). However, at higher levels, it has been combined with fluorine poisoning, diseases that cause debilitating bone structures, and discoloration and staining of teeth. Fluorine hazard levels occur naturally in the same area as arsenic in groundwater.
Activated alumina product KA402, due to the higher levels of fluorine compared to arsenic, regeneration is often required to make it cost effective.
Features:
A white particle, ball-shaped or roll-shaped, activated alumina is insoluble in water and organic solvent, soluble in strong acids and alkali, odorless, tasteless and non-toxic.
