Technical Requirements

I. Purpose
Under dimethyl ether synthesis reaction conditions, inert alumina balls buffer gas flow impact within the reactor, protecting and supporting the catalyst.

II. Application and Dosage
Reaction Gas: The reaction gas conditions entering the reactor are as follows:
Gas Pressure: 1.0 MPa(G)
Gas Temperature: 180-240°C
Flow Rate: ~1600 kmol/h
Gas Composition: See the table below.

III. Technical Requirements and Quantities
1) Al2O3 Content: 70%. The lower the content of other impurities such as heavy metals, arsenic, chlorine, and sulfur, the better. (Excessive content will poison the catalyst and affect dimethyl ether production.)
2) Bulk Density: 1600-2200 kg/m3;
3) Two particle sizes: 15 mm and 10 mm;
4) Quantity:
15 mm alumina balls: 6.5 m3
10 mm alumina balls: 1.0 m3
