The principle of pressure swing adsorption separation of gas mixtures is that the adsorption capacity of the adsorbent for different gas components changes with the change of pressure. High-pressure adsorption removes impurity components in the raw material gas, and depressurization desorbs these impurities. Through pressure changes, the purpose of removing impurities and extracting pure components is achieved. Pressure swing adsorption hydrogen production adopts 5A molecular sieve adsorbent to separate hydrogen-rich gas to produce hydrogen, which is completed through the pressure change of the adsorption bed, because hydrogen is extremely difficult to adsorb, and other gases (which can be called impurities) are easily or It is easier to be adsorbed, so that hydrogen-rich gas will be produced under the condition close to the inlet pressure of the gas to be processed. Impurities are released during desorption and desorption (regeneration), and the pressure gradually decreases to the desorption pressure.

The adsorption tower alternately performs adsorption, pressure equalization and desorption processes to achieve continuous hydrogen production. Hydrogen-rich gas enters the system under a certain pressure. The hydrogen-rich gas passes through the adsorption tower filled with proprietary adsorbent from bottom to top, CO/CH4/N2 stays on the surface of the adsorbent as a strong adsorption component, and H2 penetrates the bed as an adsorption component. The product hydrogen collected from the top of the adsorption tower is exported out of bounds. When the adsorbent in the bed is saturated by CO/CH4/N2, the hydrogen-rich gas is switched to other adsorption towers. In the process of adsorption-desorption, there is still a certain pressure of product hydrogen in the tower after the adsorption is completed, and this part of pure hydrogen is used to equalize and flush the other pressure equalizing towers that have just been desorbed. The remaining hydrogen in the tower also slows down the pressure increase speed in the adsorption tower, which also slows down the fatigue in the adsorption tower, effectively achieving the purpose of separating hydrogen.
