Activated Alumina Ball For Catalyst Carrier
Activated alumina ball desiccant (also known as activated alumina adsorbent) is an alumina product with multiple pores, high strength, x-p, Y-type and other crystal forms. It has a strong affinity for water and is a polar adsorbent for deep drying of trace water. Its surface is acidic, with excellent stability, catalytic activity, porosity, high dispersibility, and large specific surface area. Activated alumina contains amorphous gel and a rigid skeleton structure formed by hydroxide crystals, so it is very stable and will not soften, swell or crack when immersed in water. It is wear-resistant and impact-resistant. It is often used for dehydration and drying of gas, oil and petrochemical products.
In addition to being used as a desiccant, activated alumina balls can also adsorb lubricating oil vapor from polluted oxygen, hydrogen, Co2, natural gas, etc. It can also be used as a catalyst, catalyst carrier and chromatographic analysis carrier.
